takin’ a break…

November 24, 2009

I usually find myself outside, exploring or whatnot when I take a break from the needle and thread.  This time, I am sitting at the computer writing while the rain drizzles down incessantly.  I have found that doing some hand massage has helped the tiny finger movements I use daily.  I feel rather dried out up here, in spite of the wetness of the outside.

The backing and batting are now attached to the front piece of this dragon’s heart of a piece.  I wish there were another way of describing what I do rather than work.   What I do know, is that I am wearing a shirt that has the same coloring and colors as the pieces of fabric on the table.  Ok, speaking of that, it’s back to the table.   Beading has started, because the edging has been sewn down.  Hah!
